Terms of Delivery

PAYMENT ON DELIVERY / PAYMENT PRIOR TO DELIVERY POLICY

Payment-on-Delivery (PoD) and Payment-Prior-to-Delivery (PPD) are payment options made available by Devi Jewellers Private Limited, exclusively for ‘Devi Jewellers – Bangle Mela 2017’, which is limited to when purchasing products from the devijewellers.lk bangle collection, between the 17th of July and 17th of August 2017.

 

PoD Terms and Conditions:

  1. PoD is an exclusive payment option provided by Devi Jewellers Private Limited during the period between the 17th of July 2017 and 17th of August 2017, which is limited to when purchasing products from the devijewellers.lk bangle collection.
  2. An order confirmation will have to be submitted through devijewellers.lk using the online delivery form.
  3. The PoD payment option is only available for the following areas: Colombo: Colombo 1 – Colombo 15. Greater Colombo: Wattala, Peliyagoda, Dehiwela, Nawala, Rajagiriya, Kalubowila, Nugegoda, Kelaniya and Mount Lavinia.
  4. Delivery guarantee – 2 business days for the areas mentioned above.
  5. The delivery guarantee will not be applicable in the event of customer unavailability at the point of delivery or any discrepancies in the information provided, including but not limited to, delivery address, contact, identification and payment method and will be subject to a surcharge on re-delivery.
  6. The delivery guarantee will not be applicable in the event of unforeseen circumstances that are beyond the control of Devi Jewellers Private Limited, including but not limited to political upheaval, mass protests, and natural disasters.
  7. Payment methods–Visa (Credit / Debit), Mastercard (Credit / Debit) and American Express. Cash payments will not be accepted. Interest free, 20 month easy payment scheme only through Mastercard and American Express Credit Cards issued by Nations Trust Bank.
  8. The purchased item(s) will be delivered, as per the provided details, in a sealed package. The package will only be unsealed by the courier based on customer request upon finalizing the due payment of the invoice attached and acknowledgement of delivery.
  9. A receipt of purchase will be issued upon finalizing the due payment.
  10. Orders placed through devijewellers.lk are non-refundable.
  11. Exchange policy – Purchases submitted together with its receipt of purchase within 7 business days of delivery at the Devi Jewellers Store (131 Sea Street, Colombo 11), will be considered for exchange after thorough examination of the item(s).
  12. The exchange policy will not be applicable for any product that deviates from its original condition. Devi Jewellers Private Limited will determine a product’s original condition.
  13. Standard delivery days and hours within the Colombo and Greater Colombo areas: Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 7pm.
  14. All couriers will be Devi Jewellers Private Limited authorized and verifiable personnel.
  15. All purchases delivered are subject to the terms and conditions of Devi Jewellers Private Limited.

 

PPD Terms and Conditions:

  1. PPD or bank deposit is an exclusive payment option provided by Devi Jewellers Private Limited during the period between the 17th of July 2017 and 17th of August 2017, when purchasing products from the devijewellers.lk.
  2. An order confirmation will have to be submitted through devijewellers.lk using the online delivery form.
  3. The PPD payment option is only available for the following areas: Colombo: Colombo 1 – Colombo 15, Greater Colombo: Wattala, Peliyagoda, Dehiwela, Nawala, Rajagiriya, Kalubowila, Nugegoda, Kelaniya and Mount Lavinia.
  4. Delivery guarantee – 2 business days from receiving the proof of deposit.
  5. Accepted proof of bank deposit (deposit slip) with the order reference number clearly written, to be scanned or photographed and emailed or whatsapp’ to contact@devijewellers.lk or +94 777 783 779 respectively.
  6. The delivery guarantee will not be applicable in the event of customer unavailability at the point of delivery or any discrepancies in the information provided, including but not limited to, delivery address, contact, identification and payment method and will be subject to a surcharge on re-delivery.
  7. Devi Jewellers Private Limited will not release the purchased item(s) in the event of a discrepancy on the proof of deposit. Discrepancies on the proof of deposit, includes but is not limited to, remittance value and account details.
  8. The delivery guarantee will not be applicable in the event of unforeseen circumstances that are beyond the control of Devi Jewellers Private Limited, including but not limited to political upheaval, mass protests, and natural disasters.
  9. The purchased item(s) will be delivered, as per the provided details, in a sealed package. The package will only be unsealed by the courier based on customer request upon acknowledgement of delivery.
  10. A receipt of purchase will be issued upon acknowledgement of delivery.
